Can we attribute a part of this whole crisis to numerical oversight?

Probably not, but we can use the statistics, or the lack there of, to emphasis just how dire the situation is and hopefully motivate people to take action. Job reporting is a huge issue that has been under fire and came to a head recently when the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) challenged Statistics Canada‚Äôs (StatsCan) labour market findings on March 7, 2014.
